Hand Detection and Break-a-Beam Detection with SensorEyeC
Hand Detection is gaining popularity in a lot of consumer applications like water taps, flushing toilets, hand dryers, touchless switches for home appliances, opening doors, etc.
Break-a-beam detects when a moving object passes a certain line. The line is generated by an IR LED that shines on a distant sensor or that shines on a reflector. Applications range from detecting customers entering a store to object presence detection on conveyer belts and industrial machine shutdown when an object is detected in a dangerous area.
