High voltage LED applications
Designing high voltage applications using MLX10803.
The technique described can be used for any MLX10803 LED driver application working on supply voltages higher than 30V. The application note is intended for 100 – 250V applications running direct on the high voltage supply without any form of transformator or primary down regulation of the supply voltage.
Be aware that the described circuit applications in this document works directly with 220V or 110V supply. There are national and international safety regulations for this type of electrical circuits. This document does not cover any safety issues for electric circuit designs
