The MLX16207 is a multiple purpose intelligent relay driver ASIC designed for automotive applications. It uses the MLX16-16 Bit parallel µC of Melexis. A lot of integrated analogue and digital features allow to design different automotive applications using only a few external components. Different interrupts allow to act on real time events. The circuit is load dump protected for a 40V load dump pulse.
