The MLX16206 is a vehicle designed for software development of the MLX16207. The MLX16206 is intended to be used only on samll sample basis for software evaluation and software qualification of the MLX16207. Volume production is intended to be with the MLX16207.
The MLX16206 is a multiple purpose intelligent relay driver ASIC designed for automotive applications. It uses the MLX16-16 Bit parallel µC of Melexis. A lot of integrated analogue and digital features allow to design different automotive applications using only a few external components. Different interrupts allow to act on real time events. The circuit is load dump protected for a 40V load dump pulse.
