Melexis growth drives Detroit Sales Office relocation

Novi, MI August 27, 2012 – Melexis continued success in the automotive electronics field results in the recent successful relocation of its North American Sales office from Farmington Hills, MI to a new, expanded space in Novi, MI.
The growth in Melexis technical applications staff and requirement for expanded engineering lab space were determining factors in the Novi, MI site selection. Increased electronic content and sensors in vehicles demands extensive technical collaboration between suppliers and customers. Strong working relationships with Detroit area Tier and Vehicle Manufacturers continues to bring new projects for Melexis portfolio of Sensors, Opto, Actuator and Wireless Integrated Circuits. Melexis recently reported its best financial quarter in revenue terms and has adjusted its financial guidance accordingly. The majority of Melexis revenue is derived from automotive and transportation electronics sales.
Melexis North American Sales Manager, Adrian Hill comments “Melexis relocation to a larger facility here in Novi tracks the growth of our automotive business in the North America market and specifically the Detroit Automotive area. The relocation was recently capped with an official ribbon cutting ceremony attended by Melexis CEO Francoise Chombar and Global Sales Manager Gianluigi Morello.
