Programmable linear Hall sensor IC - MLX90293

Product description

The MLX90293 is a SMD programmable linear Hall sensor IC that enables contactless position sensor applications. The sensor measures the magnetic field component perpendicular to the surface of the IC. The internal temperature sensor enables magnet thermal drift compensation.

The MLX90293 can be used in a myriad of non-contacting position sensor applications in automotive and industrial systems. The device is available in single and dual redundant implementations to cost-effectively address a full range of applications.

Its primary benefits are flexibility and accuracy. It can easily be configured to address three commonly used output protocols: analog, PWM and SENT. In addition, its digital signal processing enables very non-linear compensation over position and temperature. Applications can use this flexibility to either improve accuracy or enable novel magnetic designs.
