EMC Development Engineer - Tessenderlo, Belgium





Your future job

As an EMC development engineer, you will contribute to EMC robustness for chip design. More specifically, you will:

  • Develop new innovative technologies and deliver input to design teams to optimize current technical solutions through simulation and physical evaluation of silicon structures and system structures
  • Deliver high quality EMC support to the project design teams
  • Define mid and long term EMC improvements
  • Generate new and apply existing mathematical models
  • Contribute to EMC problem analysis
  • Create the eventual  EMC lab setups when necessary
  • Contribute to the development of specific simulation models and EMC test hardware

Your profile

  • Ph.D. in an Electromagnetic subject
  • Strong background in physical modelling, numerical mathematics and simulation (tools) is a preference
  • Thorough knowledge of signal integrity is a plus
  • EMC test setup experience is a plus
  • LabView and Matlab knowledge is a preference
  • Basic programming skills in C and/or Python is a plus
  • Able to read / understand electronic schematics and understand design principles
  • Knowledge of Design and Simulations in Cadence/ADS is a preference
  • Fluency in English is a must
  • Willing to travel 10%
