More and more Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning capabilities are being developed to optimise the business processes and to get more insight in the big amount of data that is produced.

 

In order to embed the AI/ML capabilities into the operational processes and related applications, a whole series of data engineering activities are needed, e.g. setting up data pipelines, create data sets from different sources, perform data analysis, visualise data analysis results, build a data infrastructure for easy AI based data processing, embed ML algorithms into operational services,…

 

Depending on the progress of the currently running projects, the focus will be more or less on one or more of the above mentioned activities.

 

Main technologies used:

- Microservices and event-based application architecture

- Kafka, Google Cloud Dataflow

- Google BigQuery, Google Data Studio

- ETL

- Java (Maven, sprint boot, apache camel, IntelliJ,…)

- Python, Django, GraphQL

- Test automation based on Cucumber

- Continuous delivery (Git/gitlab CI, Docker, Kubernetes,….)

 

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master in IT
  • Full English proficiency
  • Available for 4 weeks up to 3 months
