Your future job

We’re hiring a PLM (S)QA / Trainer who will be responsible to maintain and validate the functional setup over the different functional domains in the PLM platform. The validation will be organized through the creation and documentation of test scenario’s, testplans to facilitate the user acceptance testing. The role involves providing functional support to end-users of the platform and initiating problem investigations when critical issues appear in the platform.

More specifically, you will

  • Maintain the functional apps in the product life-cycle management system
  • Provide functional support, through the role as a 2nd line support engineer, for the operational processes running through the different applications/domains
  • Coach end-users when they have questions about the system
  • Collaborate with service desk organizations to report issues and bugs in the system;  ensure a proper follow-up on issues which have been reported
  • Assist in the problem solving process when more complex issues are reported
  • Register the ongoing needs from end-users, report them to the business analysts and solution architect to improve the system accordingly
  • Collaborate with the core team to train end-users in the different domains
  • Ensure that the training material and support manuals are kept actual and relevant to the changes which happen in the system
  • Organize and perform user acceptance tests, develop test-plans and document the different test-scenario's; run regression tests on major releases planned
  • Review together with the business analysts the test cases and play an active role in improving the quality of the test-cases conform to the related acceptance criteria
  • Participating in all implementation workshops: analysis, design, development, deployment, cut over, go live and after go live support

Your profile

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent with preferably 3+ years of experience in the area of SQA (software quality assurance)
  • Knowledge on product life-cycle management systems, semicon domain is a plus
  • Knowledge on issue tracking systems Atlassian Jira or relevant systems
  • Excellent communicator, able to present before an audience
  • Customer-oriented mindset in the role to deliver support to end-users
  • Working knowledge towards the semiconductor industry
  • Experience in working successfully with teams over multiple sites / different nationalities
  • Fluent in English both verbally and written
