Your future job

As a Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager at Melexis, you will lead the Continuous Improvement team focused on ensuring the enhancement of products performances in terms of capacity, lead time and daily discontinuities throughout product life time.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead the Continuous Improvement team dedicated to local and/or across-site manufacturability improvement projects, such as optimizations to increase productivity, maximize profitability and improve customer satisfaction
  • Manage problem solving processes in manufacturing in order to smooth production flow of products running in manufacturing
  • Support releases of new products in manufacturing in collaboration with development, quality, process and schedulers
  • Act as a local 5S and Lean champion and drive for building-related capabilities in the manufacturing process. Support the organization in developing and conducting training and awareness sessions
  • Interface between Customer Quality and Manufacturing teams on customer complaints – supervising the root cause and initiate corrective and preventive actions, aiming continuous improvement of the production process locally and globally
  • Ensure the right talent is on-board, adequately managed and developed to contribute to the individual’s personal growth and Melexis’ global success

Your profile

  • University degree in Electronics, Automation or equivalent
  • Previous experience in leading or mentoring an engineering team
  • Flawless understanding of production flow optimization such as test methods, equipment efficiency, work space organization etc.
  • Advanced knowledge and successful application of lean tools and methodologies or other Kaizen methods
  • Profound knowledge of problem solving methods, including process improvement techniques, Six •Sigma methodology and risk assessments
  • Solid experience with project management techniques, software and engineering tools/methods (e.g. SPC, FMEA, MSA, etc.)
  • Excellent English skills
