Melexis offers a wide range of magnetic sensors for automotive applications. In order to maximise sensors performance accurate stimuli are applied during the testing phase.
The Control and knowledge of the stimuli is key to deliver the best quality to our customers.
Current calibration methodology of our magnetic field is based on standard regression, latest research shows possibility to use Bayesian approach in order to build a better estimator.
As part the Process team you will be fully integrated in a multi cultural and multidisciplinary team. Located on one of Melexis state of art production site in Ieper, Belgium, your mission will consist in:
Understand the context, current methodology and objective
Study the Bayesian approach and the details of tree-dimensional magnetic sensor
Perform a feasibility and proof of concept of the approach
Share the knowledge acquired to guarantee continuation
Your profile
Good knowledge in programming (Python, C, C++)
Good level in mathematics, regression, statistics.
Capable of high abstraction level
Good knowledge in intersystem communications skills
Hold a technical conversation in English
Organizational skills, team work oriented and be self-motivated
For 4th or 5th year student in engineering school
Effective communication skills in English
