Your future job

As an Account Manager (Distribution) at Melexis, you will support the development of the sales plan in the region to which you are assigned and ensure its implementation.

More specifically, you will

  • identify and manage business opportunities at existing and potential customers for Melexis products in the region of your assignment

  • follow technically and commercially the open opportunities and identify at each step of the sales process what or who is needed to move forward

  • track the closed opportunities in order to feed budget/forecast exercises and identify issues at an early stage, giving active support to other departments during the solution implementation

  • keep the CRM tools and KPIs updated for the personally assigned customers

  • Manage distributor to set business goal and achieve annual sales targets (Point of Purchase, Point of Sales, Design pipeline & Design Win, etc.)

  • Coordinate the formal relevant communication to distribution partners (e.g. Terms &Conditions, business development program, etc.)

  • Support regular internal and external business reviews with Distributors 

  • Drive distributor resource enablement, regular exchange with distributor on the relevant market application and product areas and execution in field sales

Your profile

  • a bachelor degree of engineering, preferably in electronics

  • at least 5 years of business experience, experience in automotive electronics is a plus

  • effective communication skills in English

  • willingness to travel intensively
