Your future job

As a Mixed Signal Verification Engineer at Melexis, you will verify the mixed mode design (analog, and digital) for Integrated Circuits (IC) based on the customer requirements. More specifically, you will: 

  • Take ownership of the digital specification and analog-to-digital interfaces definition for mixed-signal ICs

  • Make the bridge between disciplines delivering part of the IC (Digital design, Analog design, System design)

  • Work with design engineers and system architects to define verification needs and create verification plans

  • Perform detailed simulations and verifications of top and block level analog, digital and system functionalities and report results

  • Be involved in the system modeling to conceptualize and validate circuits

  • Develop and/or integrate high-level functional models, test cases and test benches to support system simulation

  • Develop and integrate Verilog-AMS and System Verilog behavioral models

  • Support design, characterization and production test teams

Your profile

  • You have an engineering master degree in an electronic or microelectronic field and you have experience as a designer and verification engineer in a microelectronics environment, in combination with good system verification capabilities

  • You have experience with the latest verification languages like Verilog-AMS and System Verilog and with scripting languages like Python, TCL, SHELL

  • Experience with additional behavioral modeling languages (Verilog-AMS, Verilog-A, Verilog, and System-Verilog) is an asset, as well as work experience with Cadence AMS Designer verification flow and UVM verification methodology

  • Knowledge of Functional Safety industrial standards such as  ISO26262 and IEC61508 is a plus

  • Knowledge of automotive bus interfaces SENT/SPC, SPI, and other automotive and industrial digital interfaces is a plus

  • Working experience in automotive industry is a plus

  • Experience with Git and Gitlab is an asset

  • You are self-driven, able to work independently while coordinating with analog, digital and software engineers

  • You are an efficient communicator, are fluent in English and have a customer oriented attitude
