Melexis Bulgaria is currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join as an Intern to support the Equipment team by performing basic maintenance activities related to the Production Hardware.

More specifically, you will:

• Support the Equipment Specialist (HW focus) to perform the assigned daily tasks

• Apply work instructions and participate in a team to perform basic jobs (HW focus) such as preventive maintenance and calibrations of Testers and Hardware

• Collaborate with the Equipment Specialist for Test and Validation of repaired Hardware 

• Perform initial verification of broken Tester Cards

• Support the Equipment Specialist for organization of the transportation and logistics of shipments

• Prepare Cables based on predefined specifications

• Make inventorizations of the available spare parts and equipment. Support in the Spare parts management process

• Report any process deviations in order to initiate early corrective action and minimize manufacturing impact

• Provide input in the process of continuous improvement of quality and productivity in order to support cost control and optimal response to customers needs
  
  

Your profile

• Education in Electronics or another relevant field (preferably 2+ year of study)

• Working knowledge on manufacturing test set-ups and equipment

• Understanding and applying of work instructions related to basic maintenance, test set-ups and equipment

• Ability to execute fine precise handwork (soldering, assembling, drilling, cabling etc.)

• Hands-on personality and knowledge with Altium is an advantage

• Good Computer literacy

• Good English knowledge
