Your future job

As a FACILITY COORDINATOR at Melexis, your role has a strong focus on Health and Safety and facility management. Your technical expertise, service-minded attitude and ability to read and interpret legislation, develop clear procedures and coordinate their implementation will contribute to the creation of the right working environment. You ensure the constant, effective and environmentally-friendly functioning of the company infrastructure, the building and its premises as well as of the technical equipment in compliance with the legislation.

More specifically, you will

  • Develop, evaluate and improve the occupational safety process;

  • Develop and implement health & safety, fire safety and hazardous materials management policies and procedures;

  • Steer the activities of the company's Working Conditions Committee, Occupational Medicine Service and medical examinations of company employees;

  •  

    Organize and conducts training and instructions of employees related to occupational safety;
  • Organize and conducts safety audits and inspections, leads occupational safety performance during customer’ and authority’ audits;

  • Supports the production process by assessing documentation and production equipment to assure the machinery is safe for use;

  • Monitor and work with sub-contractors to ensure high standard services (cleaning, security, legal verification & control, fire safety etc.);

  • Oversee security of buildings and grounds;

  • Develop, implement and track preventative maintenance plan of fire and security systems;

  • Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors;

  • Prepare and track safety related budget;

  • Plan and coordinate refurbishments, renovations and other facility support;

  • Develop and implement facility-related policies, procedures.

Your profile

  • University degree and/or certification on Occupational Safety and Health or Engineering equivalent specialty;

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in H&S;

  • Good knowledge of the Bulgarian legislation in the field of Health and Safety;

  • Good knowledge of ISO 45001;

  • Basic knowledge of waste management process and ISO 14001:2015;

  • Strong commitment and proactive approach;

  • Proven organization skills and customer service orientation;

  • Ability to follow deadlines;

  • Good knowledge of English – written and spoken;

  • Good knowledge of MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint;

  • Good knowledge of Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) – will be considered as advantage;

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD will be considered as advantage;
