As a Senior MEMS Development Engineer / Project Manager at Melexis, you will drive the development of new sensing devices and technologies according to the business and technology roadmap of the MEMS sensors team. More specifically, you will:

• Take the complete ownership of the MEMS process development and verification activities according to the Melexis flow, process and policies, from feasibility to product release;
• Develop innovative, patentable solutions and lay the technological & technical ground for our continuous growth;
• Follow up internal and external trends on MEMS applications and products and actively search for possibilities to improve tools and technology;
• Support the System Architects and Project Managers on their field of expertise to evaluate feasibility, complexity, partitioning and to transfer mathematical models to detailed specifications.

Your profile

• PhD in microelectronics, nanotechnology or physics with more than 5-10 years of professional experience in a relevant field
• Your experience is not limited to research institutes but you also have relevant industry experience
• Self-driven and passionate about microsystems, sensors, or related technology
• Outstanding analytical skills and ability to translate insight into novel solutions
• Experience in organizing and conducting experimental tasks and device characterization
• Track record of project management skills (feasibility, planning, leading a project team, reporting, risk management)
