Your future job

As a Global Brand & Communications Manager, you will lead a dynamic team in steering internal and external communications which will amplify and enhance our brand positioning globally through key campaigns and employee engagement. 

More specifically, you will

  • Work with senior leaders in the business to enhance the company’s profile in the market, enable conversations with clients and position our people as industry experts.

  • Partner with  CEO, business leaders and cross-functional teams to craft and own company external and internal announcements.

  • Develop individual communication plans for key campaigns and annual events.

  • Supervise social media campaigns to raise awareness of the Melexis brand and position for existing and future markets and associated recruitment.

  • Oversee content pipeline appointments, project milestones, events and awards and other news stories  for publication in internal newsletters and external media/web/social channels.

  • Coordinate and deliver timely employee engagement via various communications mechanisms to keep employees abreast of business activities and progress linked to individual project campaigns.

  • Ensure timely input into Leadership meetings and strategy development demonstrating how content and coverage have contributed to campaigns and wider business objectives.

  • Manage the selection of agencies, the existing agencies & suppliers to meet quality and plan deliveries.

  • Manage a team of communication professionals and are fully accountable for leading, motivating, coaching and developing the team.


Your profile

  • A university degree and minimum 10 years of relevant experience, with minimum 5 years experience in leading a team.

  • Strong communication strategy expertise and experience with agencies’ management. Solid network  of  global  and local providers.

  • Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch, languages (French, German) is a plus.

  • Excellent writing and editing skills, good business judgement, and experience managing strategic communications and employee engagement.

  • Experience in fast implementation of effective crisis management communications.

  • Robust project management skills.

  • Experience in developing and implementing internal communication systems and processes is a plus.

  • Experience in development, implementation and support of effective Employer 

    Branding strategy, tools and campaigns is a plus.
  • Experience with working in product oriented tech and engineering companies is an asset.

  • You have excellent stakeholder’s management skills, the  ability to negotiate and influence.

  • You enjoy people management and development.
