Your future job

As Operator Lead at Melexis you will manage the Operators in our Warehouse department with regards to on-boarding, development, planning and organization in order to achieve maximum efficiency in line with the company strategy. Contributing actively and for the deployment of the way of working for the department, suggesting ideas for improvements of the current practices.

More specifically, you will

  • Coordinate and run the Warehouse processes and ensure their successful implementation. 

  • Take ownership of any process deviation in order to initiate early corrective action and minimize impact for the warehouse or for the whole production area’s process flow.

  • Perform people-related tasks: recruitment and on-boarding, coaching and monitoring, regular follow-up sessions with the operators, training organization, resources planning etc.

  • Monitor consumables in the area and make orders through the I procurement system to facilitate the production needs.

  • Actively work with the team to improve the 5S standard and specific processes in order  to reach the local KPI’s.

Your profile

  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse processes and previous experience as a Team Lead in such an area.

  • Willingness to enter a dynamic environment and work on two-shifts pattern (first and second shifts).

  • Strong Decision making ownership in a dynamic environment.

  • Proactive attitude and advanced skills for organizing priorities and tasks independently.

  • Good overall computer literacy. Ability to work with Warehouse tools and programs is an advantage.

  • Strong customer- and team- oriented attitude. 

  • Independent English user.
