Your future job

As a Project Manager at Melexis, you will manage all activities for your IC development project to achieve the technical, commercial and quality targets in line with the Melexis development policies and methodologies. You will be the main interface of Melexis to the customer. 

More specifically, you will:

  • Steer the initiation, planning and execution of projects in the Magnetic Position Sensors product line, from feasibility studies until start of production.

  • Lead a multidisciplinary project team across several sites and various project phases.

  • Plan and secure the availability of project resource needs with various Competence Centers.

  • Define, monitor and control project budget and product cost.

  • Follow automotive quality standards during the whole development lifecycle, identify and mitigate risks, apply systematic change management.

  • Regularly report project status to the business unit and external customers. Adapt the project objectives to changes in the business environment.

  • Drive problem-solving teams to support project and customer issues.

  • Act as an interface between the customer and Melexis experts to ensure that activities are aligned and implemented effectively.

  • Support the Business Unit and external customers with all the needed documentation to ensure a professional product launch.

  • Reflect on processes and tools usage, apply lessons learnt and hold retrospectives to evaluate and improve project management processes and practices continuously, and exchange knowledge across sites and between projects.

Your profile

  • You hold an engineering MSc in electronics, microelectronics, microengineering or a similar technical field.

  • You have more than three years of project management experience in a related environment.

  • You possess a solid technical background in IC design and manufacturing, 

    automotive processes,  and/or sensor development.
  • You display a strong quality mindset and the ability to balance risks vs time and money in your decision making.

  • You communicate effectively in English, French being a plus.

  • You’re willing to travel.
