As an Senior Operator for Visual inspection at Melexis, you will perform all required visual inspections to start up a handler in Final test and Back End or perform visual inspections for probing.

More specifically, you will

• detect and communicate any process deviation, during and at the end of the shift in order to initiate early corrective action and minimize manufacturing impact

• apply procedures and work instructions in order to guaranty quality, yield and efficiency within manufacturing process steps

• perform all needed transfer and packaging steps according to the work instructions to ensure the wafers and devices get intact to their destination

• record and modify timely and correctly production data according to the different steps in the process

• provide input in the process of continuous improvement of quality and productivity in order to support cost control and optimal response to customer needs

• train and retrain new operators and ensure a good knowledge transfer

Your profile

• Higher non-university education with a technical focus (electrical industry)
  Min. 3 years of relevant work experience

• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and product flows

• Working knowledge of manufacturing set-ups and equipment for optical controls and packaging of wafers and devices

• Working knowledge of ISO/TS16949 and ISO14001 and of the relevant customer requirements

• Attitude to take responsibility, to take care of other peoples development, to share knowledge

• Fluent in German and good understanding of English
