Your future job

As a Hardware Specialist at Melexis, you will perform all required activities regarding maintaining and problem solving of manufacturing hardware in order to ensure that test equipment is constantly up to date and available to run production.

More specifically, you will:

• test, repair and maintain the PCB's and probe cards that are used in production for testing of microchips
• clean, align and check probing needles under microscope
• order new hardware in line with planning forecast and release for production
• improve and design hardware in order to reduce fails in production
• define and maintain methods to solve hardware failure

Your profile

• a Bachelor degree in Electronics or a related field
• knowledge on PCB assembly and design
• working knowledge of electrical test methods and test equipment
• strong problem solving skills
• handy to execute fine manual work
• effective communication skills in English
