As an Equipment Specialist with Hardware focus at Melexis, you will be focused on maintenance and calibration activities, being part of the Manufacturing Equipment team.

More specifically, you will:

• Release new HW in production by following the procedures

• Perform activities related to predictive, preventive and curative maintenance processes and follow up on relevant tasks to ensure the high performance of the equipment

• Be responsible for the correct and timely execution of planned calibration activities for testers and production hardware

• Use the Asset Management module of the company ERP system to track HW repair and calibration activities

• Ensure the development process (teach and coach) of technicians by leading trainings (e.g. Soldering trainings)

• Manage the HW spare part availability and create orders for spare parts

• Drive and implement problem-solving techniques to ensure effective, quality-driven solutions of complicated HW issues

• Proactively seek and deploy new and improved ways of working in all day to day activities in relation to the process of continuous improvement

• Update and apply work instructions/checklists to perform calibration and full maintenance activities

Your profile

• Ready to work on a shift schedule ( 1st and 2nd )

• Engineering degree with a technical focus, preferably in Electronics

• Relevant previous experience with HW maintenance in a manufacturing environment at least 2 years

• Team player and result-driven attitude, excellent coaching capabilities

• Strong reporting skills and problem-solving techniques

• Basic inventory management techniques

• Very good computer literacy

• Fluency in English

• Competencies in programing of Microcontrollers, basic Pyton programming and PCB design via Altuim will be considered a great advantage
