We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our Global Development and Quality team at Melexis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex projects related to our Embedded Lighting and Drivers business, ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception to launch.

As a Senior Project Manager in the Global Development and Quality function, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of new drivers for Melexis. You will collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be accountable for ensuring that project objectives are met, risks are identified and mitigated, and stakeholders are kept informed of progress.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and timelines, identifying critical paths and potential risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project completion
• Lead cross-functional teams including design, engineering, quality, manufacturing, and supply chain to achieve project objectives
• Facilitate project communication and collaboration across all stakeholders, both internal and external
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded
• Monitor project budget, scope, and schedule, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget
• Drive continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains

Your profile

• Master's degree in Engineering or a related field

• At least 5 years of experience in project management in the semiconductor industry, or equivalent experiences

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from conception to launch

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and influence cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders

• Experience working with global teams and multicultural environments

• Knowledge of automotive business and Melexis product portfolio is a plus

• PMP or Prince2 certification is a plus
