Melexis is a leading company in the automotive semiconductor industry. We are currently seeking a Field Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Field Sales Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing the sales plan for your assigned customer base. • Identify and manage business opportunities within existing direct accounts as well as potential new customers in your assigned region.

• Monitor open opportunities, both technically and commercially, and take necessary actions or allocate resources to advance the sales process.

• Build and foster relationships with key decision makers and influencers within customer organizations.

• Support budgeting and forecasting exercises by tracking successfully acquired opportunities and proactively assisting other departments during solution implementation and follow-ups.

• Drive negotiation processes for various agreements with customers, such as yearly pricing agreements or contract implementations.

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date data entry in CRM tools and analyze and maintain relevant KPIs for assigned customers.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• An engineering degree, preferably in electronics.

• A minimum of 2-3 years of business experience in technical sales within the automotive electronics or semiconductor industry.

• The ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of customer management.

• Demonstrated expertise in commercial negotiations.

• Strong communication and presentation skills in English and German.

• Willingness to travel as required.
