As Global Production Asset Manager, your key roles are to advise on defining and agreeing on the strategy and to steer/follow-up on the execution of the actions about the assets used in operations throughout their lifecycle.
This by incorporating and/or considering:
- Vendor/market strategies (with purchasing and process teams)
- Production Assets quantities and utilization (with production, CI and supply chain teams)
Production Assets maturity, ease of use, maintainability (with production and CI teams)
- Customers/market needs and criticality, short and long term projections for Melexis (with Business units PLMs)
- Products needs and criticality (with PDIMs)
More specifically, you will/have:
- partner up with all the product line teams (PLM and PdiM) and global operations team to define and follow-up a broad set of product & associated assets performance indicators thatdemonstrate the optimization of the asset park, finding the right balance Melexis-wide and product line-wide directions.
- identify opportunities for improved asset use and contribute to the decision taking towards this optimum, in balance with other business or operational ambitions, with specific attention to the operations related aspects throughout the whole product lifecycle, from product creation until end-of-life (ie. IMPALA, EoL..)
- anticipate short term (S&OP) and long term (OPS X+5) test capacity requirements to support the definition of the associated strategies (allocation, supplier roadmap, package roadmap, asset roadmap...)
- contribute to a balanced decision-making process towards the best interest of Melexis by asking questions, explaining implications and bringing expert people together,
- be the integrator, communicator and guide of the asset-related operations within global operations and towards business units and development/Quality,
- be reporting to OPS Strategy Manager and be part of multiple cross-functional teams and directly advising the global operations management team in strategic decision making process
Your profile
- You have an advanced technical affinity, strong knowledge about operations, and you have 5-10 years of relevant experience
- You have a good understanding in product and test related processes in the semiconductor industry,
- You have a good view at the important product-related Melexis processes (product
development flow, production planning, manufacturing and supply chain flow, equipment types and test setup components) - You are data-oriented person, structured, able to articulate tools and reporting requirements to organise your work and facilitate your interactions,
- You have excellent communication and networking skills, and you can connect to – and bring together – experts of different domains,
- You are able to deal with ambiguity
- You are fluent in English, and you are ready for business travel.
- You will be based in Europe, preferably on a production site (E/I/S)
