We mainly focus on semiconductors for the automotive industry. Melexis is energizing the transition to Electrical Vehicles (EVs). We increase the efficiency of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) cars. Besides the automotive market, we cater to other markets as well.

Project Description

Graphical user interface (GUI) development is the art and science of putting a user-friendly interface on top of powerful, cutting-edge tooling. In order to bridge the gap between intricate hardware design and user accessibility, Melexis is looking to develop a GUI on top of our application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) development flow.


Your mission will be to first collect user requirements, evaluate and select a suitable GUI framework, develop a proof of concept application, integrate it with our flow, and then iterate and expand according to user feedback.


In this role, you will refine your GUI design skills, deepen your understanding of ASIC design, and enhance your programming proficiency while creating an intuitive GUI that bridges hardware complexities with user-friendly interfaces

Expected results

• By the end of the internship, you will have developed a seamlessly integrated GUI, optimized user experience, and documented your work comprehensively.

Your profile

• Master 1 or Master 2
• Basic programming knowledge (Python typically)
