Facility Manager - Sofia, Bulgaria





Your future job

As a Facility Manager, you will be accountable of all processes related to the workplace management and the activities associated, leading the local facility team into achieving Melexis business requirements fulfillment in terms of production continuity, employees’ comfort, energy efficiency, safety and applicable regulations compliance and systems automation & management.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead the team (4-6x professionals and technicians) into being successful and continuous development, manage balance work load b/n members, coach/mentor them into their accountabilities, coordinate the execution of the activity’s b/n all members, ensure the 24/7 operations without interruption;
  • Manage projects of construction, renovation or facility improvements and mentor team members into similar projects management;
  • Ensure delivery of services to the site such as canteen, health & safety related, security, premises arrangement and utilities in office and meeting rooms;
  • Ensure management of suppliers and partners, from selection, contracting, follow-up, results achieving, work acceptance and contracts fulfillment in line with Global Melexis process and legal compliance;
  • Ensure management of site facility budget (yearly CAPEX and OPEX in the mio EUR range) with the facility team;
  • Be overall accountable for efficient performance and legal compliance of infrastructure: high and low voltage, HVAC, compressed air, vacuum, liquid nitrogen, clean room ISO7 and ISO8, ESD protected areas, fire protections systems;
  • Ensure monitoring of relevant laws and changes related to facility, infrastructure and environmental aspects;

Your profile

  • Proven experience as facility manager or relevant position
  • Successfully driven projects (in the construction field preferably)
  • Well-versed in technical/engineering operations and facilities management best practices
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good analytical/critical thinking
  • Degree in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field
  • Professional fluency in both written and spoken English
