At Melexis, we're searching for a Senior Digital Design Engineer who doesn't just design circuits but becomes the mastermind behind them. As our Senior Digital Design Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting the digital core of our cutting-edge integrated circuits. Here's your chance to own every aspect of your designs and bring them to life in an environment filled with opportunities and challenges. More specifically, you will:

• Shape the Future with Risc-V: Dive into the development of our innovative 32 bits CPU platform, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the semiconductor industry
• Craft High-Safety Hardware (ASIL-D): Elevate your skills within the ISO26262 context, creating hardware that's not just advanced but safe to its core
• Collaborate with System Architects: Join forces with our System Architects to seamlessly blend Analog, Digital, and Software functionalities, unlocking new dimensions of performance
• Architect for Excellence: Contribute your expertise to the architectural blueprint, ensuring it's optimized for efficiency, safety, low power and testability
• Deliver Impeccable Verification: Harness your prowess in SystemVerilog and UVM to implement top-notch automated verification. Explore formal proof, fault injection, and ATPG to guarantee quality and precision
• Document and Support: Share your knowledge by providing valuable documentation and support to our analog, verification, test and quality  teams. Be the go-to expert they can rely on.
  
  
  

Your profile

• Engineering Master's Degree or PhD: You bring the educational firepower required, with a strong foundation in microelectronics
• 5+ Years of Digital Design Experience: Your journey in digital design spans at least five years, making you a seasoned pro in the field
• Design Concepts and Simulations: You possess a deep understanding of design principles, CPU architecture and simulations, recognizing their pivotal role in shaping the final product's quality
• Effective Communicator: Your communication skills are top-notch, complemented by your drive and proactive approach to every challenge
• Team Player: Collaboration is in your DNA. You thrive in a cross-country, multicultural team-oriented environment, leveraging your analytical skills to drive innovation
• Tech Enthusiast: You're not content with the status quo. You actively seek to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in digital design. You will contribute to exhibitions, IEEE articles etc.
