Your future job

As a Characterization Engineer, you are the key person in the verification of all new Melexis products. Together with the IC design team, you are responsible for defining the test cases, as well as developing a measurement setup. This setup is used for debugging and characterizing our products in a highly automated way, and to test engineering samples for our customers. You are responsible for analysing and reporting the measurement data back to the IC design team.In our growing company, you are a key person to improve our product verification process, our setups and our software. You will do so by teaming up with your colleagues across several Melexis sites in global teams. More specifically, you will:

• Define the needs and test cases for the verification of all IC parameters based on the inputs of the IC design team
• Develop a setup with a high level of automation conform to the existing hardware and software platforms (Loadboard schematics design using Altium Designer;
  Software development using NI LabVIEW on a NI PXI station; Defining hardware needs for applying stimuli to the IC)
• Develop and perform, on this setup, automated measurements of all IC parameters
• Analyse the measurement data to provide feedback to the IC design team, including a report
• Develop and perform measurements and analysis to identify the root cause in case of IC bugs
• Develop a fully automated test program to trim and screen engineering samples for our customers

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor/Master degree in Electronics Engineering
• You have practical electronics experience and you have 2+ years of relevant working experience in (semiconductor) electronics measurement techniques
• Experience with LabVIEW and/or NI PXI equipment is a plus
• You are a team player with a hands-on mentality
• You are creative and solution-oriented
• You are fluent in English and you have good communication skills
