Your future job

As an intern in Analog Design, you will design and simulate a low noise amplifier (LNA) in two
different technologies and compare their performance.

  • Simulate and design an LNA in two different semiconductor technologies: one in a
    180nm technology and another in a smaller 110nm technology
  • Compare the two technologies in terms of performance, die area and current
    consumption of the amplifiers
  • Start from an architectural study and end up at an actual Design Implementation,
    coached by an experienced Analog Designer
  • Document your work (analysis, simulation, proposals…)
  • Share your learnings to the local design group

  • Designing and simulating low noise amplifiers
  • Understanding the advantages and disadvantages of changing process technologies

Your profile

  • Self-motivated student, eager to learn, curious and enterprising with strong problem- solving mindset
  • Required education: bachelor in electrical engineering + OpAmp design course
  • Basic knowledge of design in cadence
  • Basic knowledge of amplifier topologies and design
  • Good knowledge of English
