Your future job

As a Distribution Manager at Melexis, you will own the go-to-market distribution strategy for your assigned region. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships between Melexis and our distribution partners, creation of growth plans, oversight of marketing plans, negotiating contracts and agreements, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and collaborating with sales, marketing, and logistics teams to achieve company goals. Your primary focus is to drive growth in Demand Creation, Revenue and Influential Relationships.

More specifically, you will: 

  • Be responsible to maximize profit and sales opportunity for their assigned region
  • Meet/exceed essential KPI goals such as POS, POP and Demand Creation Growth
  • Build and execute marketing plans
  • Provide support to Account Management Team
  • Support key branch relationships and facilitate major market and/or strategic locations business reviews.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of Quarterly Business Review (QBR) process 
  • Analyze and ensure proper inventory mix and levels needed to support POS plan.
  • Work to ensure all appropriate teams within Melexis are effectively engaged within our distributors
  • Be the voice of the distributors into Melexis and our various operating, support and sales teams.  
  • Success is typically measured by design activity, profitable revenue growth and increased customer count.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years Distribution experience   
  • Understanding of the semiconductor industry.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to develop long lasting influential relationships
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • G Suite / MS Office proficient 
  • Willing to travel 25%-50% of the time
