Your future job

As a Project Manager at Melexis, you will steer every aspect of IC development, from inception to mass production. Your mission? to successfully meet Melexis’ ambitious technical, commercial and quality objectives and provide our customers with leading-edge, innovative solutions.

 

More specifically, you will:

  •  Take charge of initiating the project, creating the plan and driving its execution with the help of our magnetic position sensors engineers.

  • Lead a diverse project team across multiple sites throughout the IC’s conception, its verification, qualification, and industrialization.

  • Ensure the necessary resources for the project are acquired in collaboration with Team Leaders and Competence Centers

  • Define and take action to control the project budget and product cost

  • Comply with automotive and functional safety quality standards throughout the development process, identifying and mitigating risks and implementing effective change management.

  • Provide regular project status updates to internal stakeholders and external customers, and be willing to adapt project objectives to changes in the business environment.

  • Lead problem-solving teams to address product and customer issues, and serve as a bridge between the customer and Melexis experts to deliver optimal solutions.

  • Support our customers, the application and marketing teams by supplying technical documentation for a professional new product introduction.

  • Reflect on development processes and tools usage, apply lessons learned, and hold retrospectives with the project team to continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and practices. Share knowledge across sites and projects.

Your profile

  •  Engineering MSc in electronics, microelectronics, micromechanics or a similar technical field

  • Three years of project management experience

  • A solid technical background in IC design and manufacturing,  automotive processes,  and sensor development

  • Strong quality mindset and decision-making skills

  • Effective communication skills in English, French being a plus

  • Willingness to travel
