Melexis, a global leader in the design and development of advanced semiconductor solutions, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Corporate Communications Director like you to lead our communication strategy. In this role, you will blend technical product marketing with corporate communications to ensure a consistent and impactful brand message across all channels. You will lead a team in driving both internal and external communications, enhancing our brand positioning and fostering employee engagement.

 

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication strategy that aligns with Melexis' business objectives and enhances its brand reputation.
  • Spearhead product communication and branding efforts, ensuring a strong emphasis on technical product marketing and brand positioning.
  • Manage internal and external CEO communications, including crafting announcements, shaping the CEO's profile, and handling crisis communication.
  • Lead and motivate a team of communication professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders, cross-functional teams, agencies, and media.
  • Oversee the development and distribution of captivating content across diverse platforms, encompassing social media, internal newsletters, and external media outlets.
  • Develop and implement effective internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.

Your profile

  • Proven Experience: You have a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strategic Mindset: You possess strong communication strategy expertise and experience managing agencies.
  • Technical Acumen: You have a solid interest in technical matters and the ability to grasp and communicate complex product information.
  • Leadership Skills: Your proven leadership skills and ability to motivate your team have fostered a collaborative and productive work environment, allowing for high performance
  • Excellent Communication: You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch, with proficiency in French or German being a plus.
  • Crisis Management Skills: You have a proven ability to effectively manage crisis communication situations and protect the company's reputation.
  • Results-Oriented: You have a strong focus on achieving measurable results and demonstrating the impact of communication efforts on business objectives.
