Your future job

As an Applications Engineer at Melexis, you will build strong technical expertise on  a Melexis product line to ensure the relevant technical support to our customers and participate in the business development.

More specifically, you will:

  • Guide customers to the best-fitting product according to their requirements and generate clear documentation supporting them in using our products. 
  • Address customers' technical issues, which can involve complex measurements and simulations. 
  • Develop hardware and software for e.g. development kits and demos that demonstrate product strengths and use in generic applications.
  • Provide technical training to the Melexis Sales force and to customers to facilitate the design activities of the customer
  • Analyse competitor products and share acquired know-how with your colleagues.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in an electronics-related field (or equivalent).
  • Technical expertise and experience in sensors technology.
  • Good understanding of the functions of the Integrated Circuit (IC) design at block level
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and analyze complex customer issues in a high-tech environment, gained through previous experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in electronics, firmware, and software programming languages such as C++ and Python.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal communication skills, natural curiosity, and the ability to drive technical discussions proactively. These qualities are essential for building trustworthy relationships with customers and developing appropriate technical solutions.
  • Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with worldwide customers.
  • Willingness to travel frequently (30%)
