The Business Support Specialist provides critical administrative and operational support to the full US sales team, including the Sales Director Americas, ensuring that commercial processes are executed accurately and efficiently. This role requires a balance of internal stakeholder coordination and external customer interfacing to drive regional sales objectives.
More specifically, you will:
- Provide comprehensive sales support for the US Sales Team.
- Manage the end-to-end quotation process, including gathering internal pricing, creating documents, and sending them to customers.
- Monitor distributor buy prices on POS reports to ensure alignment with agreed-upon quotes and margins.
- Conduct Purchase Order pricing checks and communicate forecast lead times to relevant parties.
- Maintain the Salesforce database by creating new opportunities with Account Manager approval and ensuring design win checkbox evidence and liability are recorded.
- Perform data analysis.
- Generate and analyze POS reports, Qlik (shipped) data, and in-house bookings.
- Take proactive ownership of shipping responsibilities and manage sample stock, including evaluation kits and evaluation boards inventory.
- Migrate direct accounts to the channel under the direction of the Account Manager.
- Oversee the renewal of expired quotes and CM pricing.
- Prepare for customer visits, tech days, and trade shows.
- Handle general office administrative tasks, including creating expense reports for sales staff and managing office supply / sample inventory.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of experience in a coordination or administrative support role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, comfortable with a mix of internal and external stakeholder interaction.
- Ability to handle tasks of medium complexity requiring interpretation and the proposal of small process improvements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and organize your own activities within clear guidelines.
- Ability to work on-site in the Novi office 5 days a week.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and data reporting tools is preferred.
