Your future job

As a Senior Hardware Engineer at Melexis, you will design, develop and validate embedded products, PCB schematics, and applications. You'll join a collaborative team fueled by curiosity, teamwork, and a passion for technology. Together, you'll learn from each other while delivering high-quality solutions for both automotive and beyond automotive industries.

More specifically, you will:

  • Design, develop, and validate PCB layouts for Melexis products, with a focus on high-reliability applications in the automotive market and beyond.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, such as CE, UKCA, UA, etc., and adhere to Melexis' hardware design processes and quality assurance procedures.
  • Utilize modern tools such as Altium Designer for schematic capture, PCB layout, and design verification.
  • Perform signal validation of the designed hardware to optimize the PCB performance.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams for rapid prototyping and testing of new designs and contribute to decision-making processes related to hardware development workflows.
  • Involvement in key technical decisions and design architecture definition.

Your profile

  • University degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field, with a strong foundation in circuit design and analysis.
  • Proficient in PCB design software and familiar with review and debug tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
  • Strong understanding of digital and analog circuit design, including the ability to interpret and create complex schematics.
  • Knowledge of signal processing and embedded systems is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to conduct thorough design validation and testing.
  • Familiarity with version control, hardware configuration management, and electronic design automation tools.
  • Abilities for strategic hardware project management and planning, effective communication, and continuous learning.
  • Basic knowledge of Python will be an advantage.
  • Fluency in English.
