Reliability Assurance Technician - Sofia, Bulgaria

Your future job

As a Reliability Assurance Technician at Melexis, you ensure that all validation and qualification activities, particularly in the field of non-destructive test analysis, are executed in line with international standards, while meeting quality and timeline expectations.

More specifically, you will:

  • Perform daily checks, diagnostics, calibrations, maintenance, and qualification activities on equipment, products, materials, and measurement data
  • Set up and execute measurements, including trimming, repairs, and equipment release, with a strong focus on X-ray systems
  • Prepare reports, create work instructions, and handle related administrative tasks
  • Ensure proper equipment setup, test execution, and product quality in close collaboration with engineering teams
  • Monitor and follow up on day-to-day planning of ongoing validation and qualification projects
  • Execute required verification and stress tests for new products before mass production
  • Support the development of electronic set-ups for lifetime testing in cooperation with development teams
  • Track and ensure timely calibration and maintenance of the existing equipment fleet

Your profile

  • Availability to work on 1st and 2nd shift
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience with X-ray equipment is considered an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or a related field is an advantage
  • Intermediate  command of English (written and spoken)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to perform precise work with small components
  • Good communication skills and a result-driven mindset
  • Basic knowledge of electronics (schematics, systems, test methods and equipment) is a plus
  • Ability to process and interpret data from multiple sources (e.g. electrical measurements, stress monitoring)
