Your future job
As a Lean Production & AI Intern at Melexis, you will work on practical projects connected to process improvement, automation, and data analysis in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
You will collaborate directly with the Lean Production team in Sofia and gain hands-on experience with Lean methodologies, production KPIs, AI tools, and process optimization in the automotive semiconductor industry.
This is a paid student internship designed for 2nd-3rd year university students, with a flexible schedule of up to 4 working days per week.
More specifically, you will:
- Support the development of dashboards and tools for production KPI monitoring
- Participate in Lean and Kaizen improvement projects
- Help automate routine tasks and reporting processes
- Explore and test AI tools and their application in manufacturing environment
- Assist with data analysis and process documentation
- Present ideas and findings to the team
Your profile
- 2nd-3rd year university student in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Industrial Engineering, AI, or related technical field
- Practical knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or another programming language
- Strong interest in AI tools, new technologies, and digital solutions
- Curious, analytical, and eager to learn in a real production environment
- Comfortable working with data and structured processes
- Good English communication skills
