Evaluation Board for MLX92352 / MLX92362 - LatchSwitchEVB2

Product description

The EVB2 for Latch & Switch (LatchSwitchEVB2) is a compact and versatile board to program and control the MLX92352 / MLX92362. It connects via USB. A Graphical User Interface (GUI) is provided.

The EVB is an evaluation board meant for lab and prototyping evaluation. It can also be used as a demonstator.

The Latch and Switch EVB2 can also be used for small volume programming, when the costs for acquiring the Melexis Programmable Toolbox (PTC-04) is too high for the project. For end of line programing (mass production), the Melexis PTC-04 should be used.

Programming MLX92292 Latch & Switch IC explained

How to

The MLX92292 IC is Melexis’ third generation programmable Latch & Switch sensor IC that can be programmed at Melexis, but with the ability to program it within the customer’s application. This means that the sensor IC is ideal for rapid prototyping or for real end-of-line programming. During this video, Thomas Strauven, Applications Engineer for Latch & Switch, explains how to program the MLX92292 sensor IC that is assembled inside the module and trimming of the thresholds will be done in a final stage.
