Your future job

As an Intern in the Lean Production Technical Team at Melexis, you will gain hands-on experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment, support daily technical operations on the shopfloor, and work alongside experienced technicians and engineers to ensure high equipment uptime and process stability.

More specifically, you will:

• Support daily maintenance activities, equipment setups, and basic troubleshooting under supervision.
• Assist Technical Leads and Technicians with preventive maintenance, inspections, and monitoring equipment performance.
• Participate in handling first-line technical issues and applying standard work instructions (WI) and OCAPs.
• Support equipment preparation, adaptations (hardware/cables), and testing setups.
• Contribute to continuous improvement actions (5S, root cause analysis, and quality standards) on the manufacturing floor.
• Help track production technical data and assist with minor technical documentation or reporting.

Your profile

• Ongoing education with a technical focus (Electronics, Automation, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related).
• Technical affinity and basic understanding of electronics, mechanics, or pneumatics.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and high quality standards.
• Team player with strong self-drive and enthusiasm to learn on the shopfloor.
• Good computer literacy.
• Good communication skills in English.
