Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer - Sofia, Bulgaria

 

Your future job

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mixed-Signal Verification Engineer to join our engineering team. This role combines intricate circuit simulation and system-level analysis. 
You will be responsible for ensuring the robustness and performance of our mixed-signal integrated circuits and modules, from initial design simulations to final validation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in simulation methodologies, system analysis and planning.

More specifically, you will:

  • Define and implement the system-level verification plan to ensure full functional coverage of SoC requirements.
  • Develop reusable models for analog blocks and create self-checking, back-to-back testbenches.
  • Implement UVM-based testbenches for top-level, full-chip mixed-signal simulation.
  • Integrate and verify embedded firmware within the top-level UVM environment.
  • Analyze simulation and verification results, identify design issues, and collaborate with design engineers to resolve them.
  • Analyze verification results and prepare comprehensive test reports.
  • Create, run, and debug complex simulations using industry-standard simulators.
  • Act as an interface between analog, digital, software and test development.

Your profile

  • Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or Microelectronics
  • 5+ years  experience in mixed-signal verification
  • Expertise in System Verilog and UVM, experience with Verilog-AMS is a plus
  • Experience with scripting languages
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in system-wide challenges
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience with standard AMS simulators (e.g., Cadence Xcelium, Synopsys VCS-AMS)
  • Familiarity with embedded C and processor-based SoC architectures
  • Knowledge of specific communication protocols (e.g., SENT, SPC, SPI, I2C)
  • Understanding of DFT (Design for Test) principles
