Total Rewards - CoE Lead

As the Total Rewards CoE Lead, you will have the opportunity to shape and execute comprehensive compensation and benefits strategies that attract, retain, and motivate employees across our international workforce.
As an experienced and strategic-minded Total Rewards Lead, you will oversee the design, development, and implementation of our organization's global compensation and benefits programs. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company's total rewards framework, ensuring competitive and equitable compensation, benefits, and short-term incentive programs that align with our business objectives and values.

More specifically, you will:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive global total rewards strategy that attracts and retains high-demand engineering and tech talent across various regions.
  • Design, refine, and manage our global job architecture, salary structures, and transparent compensation and benefits programs aligned with industry standards and company goals.
  • Conduct regular market analysis and benchmarking using specialized tech industry platforms to maintain a highly competitive market position.
  • Ensure full compliance with global and regional regulatory frameworks, proactively driving readiness for the EU Pay Transparency Directive, local wage mechanisms (such as Belgian indexation), and pay equity standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including People and Culture, Finance, and Legal, to ensure the effective implementation, financial modeling, and communication of total rewards programs.
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to regional People and Culture teams on compensation-related matters, grading structures, and short-term incentive plans.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of total rewards programs through data analytics and key performance indicators, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with global trends and best practices in total rewards management, proactively incorporating innovative strategies to enhance the company's talent market position.

Your profile

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven progressive experience in global total rewards management, preferably within a multinational tech, engineering, or manufacturing organization.
  • Solid experience in defining and maintaining global job architecture and pay structures tailored to highly technical engineering roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of international compensation structures, benefits programs, and short-term incentive schemes across different geographies.
  • Sound knowledge of European labor compliance and wage structures, including familiarity with pay transparency frameworks and statutory adjustment models.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective total rewards strategies that support organizational objectives and foster a positive employee experience.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills, with the ability to model financial impacts, interpret market trends, and make data-backed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday, SuccessFactors) and advanced data management and analysis tools.
