Internship: Evaluation and integration of open-source tools for RTL coding - Paris, France

Your future job

Project Description
As an intern at Melexis, you will research, evaluate, and integrate existing open-source tools for the "writing code" part of RTL development, such as git hooks, linters, language servers, and formatters.

More specifically, you will:

Identify suitable tool candidates, either adapted from software development, or bespoke
Set up an evaluation procedure to compare them on correctness, speed, and flexibility
Configure and integrate the most promising ones into the digital development flow
Have the opportunity to leverage AI coding assistants in an enterprise, real-world environment

Expected results
A comprehensive, maintainable evaluation framework of relevant, currently-active, open-source RTL tools
Integration of the best tools into the digital development flow, complete with user training

Your profile

Familiarity with a programming and/or scripting language (C, Python, shell, etc.)
Any software development experience is a plus
