Research & Development Engineering

Location: Bevaix (NE) – 4 to 6 months

Your future job

As an intern at Melexis, you will work on a SW verification framework that allows our embedded SW engineering team to simulate their software efficiently in a complex system.

More specifically, you will:

Develop the necessary infrastructure (wrapper scripts, etc.) around the existing prototype to make it user-friendly and efficient for the next testing phases.
As a proof of concept, create a fully running test suite for a product in development, in collaboration with the design team.
Explore innovative ways to use AI agents use the framework - some creativity will be involved!

Expected results
Framework infrastructure (including CI/CD) and test suite example.
Verisocks SCP - MCP bridge for interactions with AI agents.
Documentation.
Depending on time available: Verisocks SCP - DAP (debug adapter protocol) bridge.

Your profile

Above anything else, we are looking for somebody who is passionate and loves to go look “under the hood” in order to understand how things are working. Tinkerers welcome!
Software engineering cursus or electrical engineering with a strong interest for embedded SW development
Fluent with Python.
Any prior experience with C/C++, SystemVerilog, SystemC and/or shell scripting is an asset.
Any prior experience with Claude code is an asset.
