As a Customer Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be the key interface between Melexis and its customers when it comes to product quality. Your role is to understand issues in depth, drive root cause analysis, and ensure sustainable solutions across the full product and process lifecycle.
You will work in a highly technical environment, combining failure analysis, data-driven problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration, with direct impact on customer satisfaction and product reliability.
More specifically, you will:
- Act as the main point of contact for customers on quality topics, ensuring clear communication, structured follow-up, and timely reporting.
- Lead and coordinate problem-solving activities, including root cause analysis on product and process level, using structured methodologies.
- Coordinate and interpret electrical testing and failure analysis on integrated circuits, including data interpretation and validation of results.
- Apply risk assessment techniques in line with automotive standards and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
- Follow up on corrective and preventive actions internally and with suppliers, ensuring effective and sustainable implementation.
- Drive improvement initiatives aimed at reducing failures and enhancing product and process robustness.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure feedback loops and prevent recurrence of issues.
- Build strong working relationships with customers, developing trust through technical expertise and responsiveness.
Your profile
- University degree in Electronics or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role within quality, testing, or failure analysis, ideally in a semiconductor or electronics environment.
- Hands-on experience with IC/module failure analysis, testing flows, or related technical domains is considered a strong advantage.
- Experience in customer communication and managing quality-related topics in an international environment.
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with data (Excel, statistics).
- Ability to coordinate across functions and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
