As a Talent Acquisition & Learning Professional at Melexis, you will directly impact the company's future by identifying, attracting and developing excellent talents for our site in Kuching, Malaysia. You may also be asked to offer expertise into the wider Asian region. The role will constantly challenge you to think creatively about how to drive hiring results and you will contribute to the development, implementation, and execution of the recruitment strategy & employee learning journey
More specifically, you will:
- Building Relationships: Foster strong connections with local and global hiring managers, understanding their needs, and guiding them through the hiring process.
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the entire hiring lifecycle, from supporting the leaders in crafting compelling job descriptions to conducting interviews and extending job offers.
- Proactive Sourcing: Actively source candidates through diverse channels, including referrals, external recruitment partners, social media, and advertisements.
- Employer Branding & Candidate Experience: Represent Melexis at job fairs and other recruitment events, ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience that promotes our employer brand. You will also support new hires during their onboarding.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and communicate the status and results of the hiring process by tracking goals, metrics, and performance.
- University & Agent Collaboration: Lead collaborations with universities and external agents to build a talent pipeline.
- Learning & Development Program Management: Serve as a project manager for various workshops and learning experiences, collaborating with the Global Learning and Development team.
- Vendor Partnership: Partner with external vendors to organize and facilitate learning events.
- Feedback Analysis & Improvement: Collect, analyze, and consolidate learning feedback to suggest continuous improvements.
Your profile
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, with a minimum of 3+ years of recruiting and L&D experience.
- Experience in APAC hiring for the engineering sector and/or manufacturing sector is highly advantageous.
- A proactive, results-oriented attitude with a strong sense of ownership and an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proficiency in attracting and headhunting passive candidates using social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Jobstreet).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Demonstrated project management abilities, including planning, identifying, coordinating, and tracking critical activities, milestones, and deliverables.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in the Learning Management System will be a plus.
