As a Process Specialist at Melexis, you will provide hands-on technical support for the introduction, improvement, and troubleshooting of equipment and processes used to test microchips in our production.

More specifically, you will:

• Support Process Engineers during the introduction of new (first-of-a-kind) equipment in production by assisting with testing, training, and preparing work instructions. You will also lead the release and installation of duplicate equipment.
• Provide technical support in Process development, Process optimization, and Performance improvement projects by executing validation plans, performing data analysis, and preparing validation reports. Additionally, you will manage backlog activities as needed.
• Contribute to risk assessment processes, including PFMEA, by providing valuable input.
• Independently troubleshoot equipment issues, addressing both known problems and new challenges.
• Create and update essential documentation such as work instructions and OCAPs (Operational Control and Process Assurance procedures).

Your profile

• Degree in Electro-Mechanics, Electronics, or relevant.
• Knowledge of machine equipment (both mechanical and electronic parts), machine repair, and curative maintenance.
• Knowledge of problem-solving methods, including yield- and process analysis and improvement techniques.
• Relevant experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Tools.
• Fluency in English.
