As a Field Applications Engineer at Melexis, you will build strong technical expertise in our product portfolio through evaluation and characterization. You will provide relevant technical support to customers and contribute to business development, focusing on the successful implementation of our Embedded Motor Driver, Smart Motor Driver, and Embedded Lighting IC solutions.

More specifically, you will
Support the Melexis Sales Team in driving revenue growth and building a strong pipeline of Design-In and Design-Win opportunities.   
Act as a technical expert and field support engineer, serving as a bridge between Melexis products and customer applications.
Promote & guide customers toward the most suitable Melexis products based on a deep understanding of their system requirements and application needs
Cooperate closely with sales team to drive all opportunities to achieve Design In and Design Win.
Provide technical support to customers and partners to resolve technical issues, either independently or in collaboration with internal teams.
Cooperate closely with Business Unit Application Engineering team on requirement of completed application solution from customer or market.
Provide training and technical support to distributors. Support technical exhibitions and seminars by sharing market insights, and analyze competitor products and market landscape. 

Your profile
an engineering bachelor or master degree in an electronic or microelectronic field
more than 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
good experience in hardware & embedded software
good experience in motor control system. 
effective communication skills in English
ability to communicate difficult technical issues in a simple and clear way
willingness to travel frequently
