Senior Project Manager - Position Sensors - Sofia, Bulgaria
Your future job
As a Senior Project Manager in our Sofia office, you will steer every aspect of IC development, from inception to mass production. Your mission? To successfully meet Melexis’ ambitious technical, operational and quality goals and provide our customers with leading-edge innovative solutions.
More specifically, you will:
- Take charge of initiating the project, creating the plan and driving its execution with the help of our Latch & Switch architects and design engineers.
- Lead a multidisciplinary project team across multiple sites throughout the IC’s conception, its verification, qualification, and industrialization.
- Secure the necessary resources for the project in collaboration with Team Leaders and Competence Centers.
- Define and control the project budget and the final product cost.
- Comply with automotive and functional safety standards throughout the development process, identify and mitigate risks, implement effective change management.
- Provide regular project status updates to the project stakeholders and customers, demonstrate willingness to adapt the project objectives to the evolving business environment.
- Lead problem-solving teams to address product and customer issues, and serve as a bridge between the customer and Melexis experts to deliver optimal solutions.
- Support our customers, the application and marketing teams by supplying technical documentation for professional new product introduction.
- Reflect on development processes and tools usage, apply lessons learned, and hold retrospectives with the project team to improve project management processes and practices.
Your profile
- Engineering MSc in electronics, microelectronics, micromechanics or a similar technical field.
- Three years of project management experience.
- A demonstrated technical background in IC design and manufacturing, knowledge of automotive processes and sensor development.
- Strong quality mindset and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills in English, Bulgarian being a plus.
- Willingness to travel.
