Your future job
You bridge the critical gap between raw data from advanced tactile sensors and the actionable, intelligent information robots need to perform intricate manipulation tasks. You design, implement, and validate innovative solutions that enable robots to truly "feel" and intelligently interact with objects, pushing the boundaries of autonomous systems.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop and deploy advanced tactile perception and AI/ML algorithms to enable robots to accurately sense and react to objects.
- Design and optimize high-quality data collection and processing pipelines for tactile sensor data.
- Develop robust sensor fusion techniques and collaborate in cross functional engineering to integrate tactile sensing solutions onto robotic platforms.
- Monitor the state of the art, latest research, and industry fairs to contribute to intellectual property and extract business insights.

Technical Foundation
· Education: A Master’s or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field with a strong focus on tactile sensing.
· Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in robotics, with proven expertise in programming, testing and deploying robotic systems.
· Technical Expertise:
o Demonstrated strong background in data analysis, including statistical methods and advanced signal processing.
o Extensive experience with AI/Machine Learning algorithms for perception, including data collection, feature engineering, model training, and deployment.
o Deep knowledge and practical experience in sensor fusion techniques (e.g., Kalman filters, particle filters, probabilistic methods) for combining diverse sensor modalities.
o Proficiency with ROS2 for robotics development
o Familiarity with ISAAC Sim or other robotic simulators.
· Systems Thinking: Exceptional ability to translate high-level application requirements into algorithm solutions in a multiple engineering disciplinary team.
